Prayer and the Universe

Prayer: I have not always prayed, not since childhood, but I have slowly again found myself praying each day. Not because I believe we are separate, not because I don't believe that I am the universe embodied or unlimited in capability, not because I believe in one omnipotent deity, but because it humbles me. Prayer grounds me so deeply, and reminds me that even if I am at the center (through my own perspective) of a very significant but also an arguably illusionary conscious reality, not everything is always entirely within my control. There is no true control. And if I can embrace a lack of control without fear, with a heart filled of love and joy, I find that my mind, my heart, and my spirit rest more easily. Prayer brings me into alignment, and when I am aligned my universe is aligned. I am admittedly a religious man in practice, but I have no true religion, I pledge allegiance to nothing but awareness and love, my spirits guide me. My practice is a continual rededication of my faith in the integrated and divine nature of the universe, to build a relationship between the microcosms and macrocosms of the universe. My dedication is to the sun, the moon, the stars, the plants, the trees, and all living things (including you). Life is my conscious mirror, I am forever and gratefully scrying. 🌞🌐 #prayer #greatspirit #love #faith #rest #god #goddess #divine #divinity #god #universe #cosmos #consciousness #microcosm #micro #macrocosm #macro #religion #divination #cosmic #scry #scrying #mirror #world #universe #awalening #awaken #connect #pray #praying #relevantreadings #shaman #spirits #sun #moon #planets #stars #earth #sky
