"When the Music Changes, So Does the Dance" - African Proverb

Everything changes. Change is the everlooming death in every moment. But death is not bad, death is necessary. And nothing truly dies, energy changes forms. Change is necessary. If you fight change, the world changes despite your effort to stay fixed. Nothing is fixed. Everything exists in a constant state of flux with the illusion of stability. Some things are more stable, others are less stable, but nothing is truly constant. One day our life bringing sun could destroy this entire planet, the ozone may perish, our laws of physics may one day not apply, or we may find we had it all wrong from the beginning; nothing is guaranteed. So, move with the earth, move with the tides, there is no reason to resist what might be. Scenery should change, people should come and go, beliefs and ways of life should change. It is unnatural otherwise. Expect change. As said by Lao Tzu, "When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be." Every time we fight change, we carry the added weight of our own resistance. We become our own barrier, our own roadblock, our own downfall. We hold up the ceiling. When we accept the impermanence of reality, there is no ceiling. There is no room and no building. There just is. www.relevantreadings.com #meditate #change #africanproverb #proverb #song #dance #music #quote #peace #love #meditation #spiritual #laotzu #was #willbe #be #impermanence #changes #inpermanent #philosophy #life #death #flux #sun #is #share #Sunday #july
